Old Dutch Windmill

This is a recreation of local landmark long gone. The historic Old Dutch Windmill which once overlooked Old West Lawrence. Created from Graham Crackers, this entry was pulled from the youth division of the show for display along side with the adult entries. It’s not only a great example of what’s possible using baked goods to create real world objects, but also stands to demonstrate how strong royal icing can be as it holds the four windmill blades to base structure.
