Small Farm House

This small farm house, titled “Jayhawk Trees” depicts a local Lawrence, Kansas farm that sells “cut your own” Christmas tress to the public.
Techniques displayed on this house are the use of various colors of gingerbread to make shingles, the use of pastillage to create siding and pickets for the fence.
Other gingerbread works from Mr. Thompson are featured here including the house from the movie UP! and the Empire State Building.
